Saturday football
A massive week ahead that will go a long way to deciding the important stuff at the top and bottom of the Premier League. Starting last night with league leaders Arsenal generously donating points to bottom side Southampton. Or was it the Saints who were being generous? Either way, it was a game that once again had Arsenal wobbling and Pep quietly whooping.

FULHAM vs LEEDS UNITED (1230)
Fortune’s given Leeds a pass in recent games. They’ve shifted 16 goals in the last four games and now find themselves visiting a Fulham side hoping to get their season back on track. It’s not looking great for Leeds. Home win.

BRENTFORD vs ASTON VILLA (1500)
Brentford’s phenomenal season is eclipsed only by Villa’s ascent since Unai Emery’s arrival. The visitors have Spurs – and Europa League qualification – firmly in their sights, but will have their work cut out against the Bees. Draw.

CRYSTAL PALACE vs EVERTON (1500)
Palace on 36 points – three points behind Chelsea – are virtually safe for another year. Everton, meanwhile, are deep in the brown stuff as only goal difference keeps them above the dotted line. Selhurst Park is rarely an easy place to go, the more so when you’re in desperate needs of points. A nervy game in store. Draw.

LEICESTER CITY vs WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS (1500)
Wolves have probably done enough to ensure another season in the top flight. Leicester haven’t, and have a decidedly tricky run-in to negotiate. A must-win for the Foxes – but even then they won’t be out of the mire. Draw.

LIVERPOOL vs NOTTINGHAM FOREST (1500)
Inconsistent Liverpool will do themselves, and their Stanley Park neighbours, and us, a massive favour with a spot of deforestation this afternoon. Home win.

*SUNDAY*

BOURNEMOUTH vs WEST HAM UNITED (1400)
The games are coming thick and fast now. Bournemouth under Gary O’Neil have shown fantastic belief and determination. They will not be easy opponents. But if we can bring forth the same guts as in the last two games, there’s no reason we can’t come away with a point at least. Draw.

NEWCASTLE UNITED vs TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR (1400)
The battle for fourth goes head-to-head. Newcastle have a three-point lead, home advantage and a game in hand. In the unlikely event that you won’t be watching the other game kicking off at the same time, this one could well be a decent watch. Home win.

*TUESDAY*

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS vs CRYSTAL PALACE (1930)
There’s likely to be a growing sense of relief among both sets of supporters as they inch towards mathematical safety. Draw.

ASTON VILLA vs FULHAM (1945)
The wind is in Villa’s sails. Home win.

LEEDS UNITED vs LEICESTER CITY (2000)
The game of the night – a huge six-pointer. Inevitability and foreboding are increasingly embedded within the Leicester soul. The Foxes’ owners may now be rueing Brendan Rogers’ departure. Despite some seriously bad results of late, you get the sense that Leeds still have it within them to dig themselves out of trouble. The same confidence does not apply to Leicester. Home win.

*WEDNESDAY*

NOTTINGHAM FOREST vs BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION (1930)
Away win.

CHELSEA vs BRENTFORD (1945)
Draw.

WEST HAM UNITED vs LIVERPOOL (1945)
Draw.

MANCHESTER CITY vs ARSENAL (2000)
Home win.

*THURSDAY*

EVERTON vs NEWCASTLE UNITED (1945)
Away win.

SOUTHAMPTON vs BOURNEMOUTH (1945)
Draw.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs MANCHESTER UNITED (2015)
Draw.

Missed opportunity for Brighton, as said below if they knew what to do once close to the penalty area they would have walked that.

Was going to say that Undav looks like a donkey
Brighton unlucky that the young striker Ferguson is injured. Think the game would be done if they had him instead.

Hopefully goes to pens with B Fernandes the one to miss

5-0 down after 21minutes has got to be sone sort of record. At least they drew the next 69mins 1-1. They are so fucking deluded, they have a shit team completely rely on two top players every week and they sacked the manager who had that shit team in the top four
Fucking laughable

Loved the fact that Spurs lost 5-0 and then noticed it was only half time! Howe has done a brilliant job at Newcastle considering I wouldn't really class any of those players superstars.
